This policy explains what personal data Tamam collects, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are. It applies to the Tamam website (5eedma.com) and to your Tamam account.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Your personal data is processed by Digitalizi, which operates Tamam. We process it in accordance with Algerian Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data, as amended.
- Operator
- Digitalizi
- contact@digitalizi.pro
- Website
- digitalizi.pro
For any question about your data, including to contact our data protection officer, write to contact@digitalizi.pro.
2. What we collect
- Account data: username, email address and password (stored in a protected form that cannot be read back). If you sign in with Google, Facebook or another provider, we receive the name, email address and photo that the provider shares with us.
- Profile data: photo, name, description, country, languages, skills, portfolio, and the services and projects you publish.
- Identity verification: if you verify your account, the type of document, photos of its front and back, and a selfie.
- Billing and payout data: your name, wilaya and address, and your CCP account's RIP if you add it, for invoices; for withdrawals, the RIB or RIP of your payout account with the account holder's name, address and phone number.
- Messages to our team: what you send through the contact form (name, email address, subject and message).
- Orders and activity: orders, payments, balance, withdrawals, messages, files you send or deliver, reviews and refund requests.
- Payment data: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive the payment status and reference, never your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, pages visited, the website that sent you to us, and your approximate country based on your IP address.
- Cookies: see section 9.
3. Why we use it
- To provide Tamam: create and manage your account, publish services and projects, process orders, payments, fees and withdrawals, and deliver work and messages. This is necessary to perform our agreement with you (our Terms of Service).
- To keep Tamam safe: verify identities, prevent fraud and abuse, secure accounts, and handle reports and disputes.
- To meet our legal obligations: invoices, accounting and tax records, and requests from the authorities.
- To communicate with you: emails about your account and your orders, which are part of the service, and replies to your support requests.
- Newsletter: only if you subscribe and confirm your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Statistics: count the visits to services and projects, and improve Tamam.
- Translation: services, projects, profiles and reviews are translated automatically into the site's languages (English, French and Arabic) so that every visitor can read them; a chat message is translated only when its reader asks for it.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it to profile you for advertising.
4. What other users can see
Your public profile, services, projects, portfolio and reviews are visible to everyone. When you place or receive an order, the other party sees what is needed for the work, such as your username, your messages and the files exchanged. Your email address, billing details, payout account and verification documents are never shown to other users.
5. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that help us run Tamam, and only what they need:
- website hosting and file storage (Hostinger);
- sending emails (Google);
- real-time messaging (Pusher);
- automatic translation of the texts you publish, and of chat messages when the reader asks (Anthropic, which does not use them to train its models);
- card payments and payouts (Chargily);
- sign-in providers, if you choose to use them (such as Google or Facebook);
- IP geolocation, to estimate visitors' country in our statistics (ip-api.com).
We may also disclose data when Algerian law requires it, for example at the request of a court or a competent authority.
6. Data processed outside Algeria
Some of these providers store or process data outside Algeria. We transfer personal data abroad only in the cases and under the conditions allowed by Law No. 18-07 as amended, and we choose providers that protect it appropriately.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and profile data: while your account is open. When it is closed, we delete or anonymise it, except what we must keep for the reasons below.
- Verification documents: while your account is open, then deleted, unless they are needed for an ongoing dispute, a fraud investigation or a legal obligation.
- Orders, payments, invoices and withdrawals: for the period required by Algerian accounting and tax rules.
- Messages and delivered files: as long as needed for the order and any dispute about it.
- Technical logs: for a limited period, for security purposes.
8. Your rights
Under Algerian law, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used (this policy);
- access your data and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected, completed or deleted when it is inaccurate, incomplete or no longer needed;
- object to its use for legitimate reasons, and to receiving marketing messages;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example to the newsletter.
You can update most of your data yourself in your account settings. For anything else, write to contact@digitalizi.pro from the email address of your account, and we will reply within the time limits set by law. You can also file a complaint with the Algerian data protection authority, the ANPDP (Autorité nationale de protection des données à caractère personnel).
9. Cookies
Tamam only uses cookies that the website needs to work and to remember your choices:
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in and remembers your language during your visit.
- Security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN): protects forms against fraudulent requests.
- "Remember me" cookie: keeps you signed in on this device, only if you tick that option.
- Display preferences: dark or light mode (7 days) and announcements you have closed (3 days).
We do not use advertising cookies. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or another provider, or if a form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to sign in without the session cookie.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords in a protected form and give access to personal data only to the people who need it. If a data breach puts your data at risk, we notify the ANPDP and inform you as the law requires.
11. Children
Tamam is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will tell you by email or on the website about important changes.
