These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tamam, the freelance marketplace available at 5eedma.com. By creating an account or using Tamam, you agree to them, so please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Tamam is operated by Digitalizi ("Tamam", "we", "us").
- Operator
- Digitalizi
- contact@digitalizi.pro
- Website
- digitalizi.pro
2. Key terms
- Client (or buyer): a user who orders a service or posts a project.
- Freelancer (or seller): a user who offers services or bids on projects.
- Service: an offer published by a freelancer, with its description, price and delivery time.
- Project: a job posted by a client for freelancers to bid on.
- Order: the purchase of a service, a custom offer or a project milestone.
- Balance: the money held for you in your Tamam account.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Tamam. If you are under 19, the age of majority in Algeria, you need the permission of your legal guardian.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything done with your account: keep your password secret and tell us immediately if you think someone else has used it.
- Each person or business may have only one account, unless we agree otherwise.
- We may ask you to verify your identity, for example with an identity document and a selfie, before you can sell, withdraw money or use certain features.
4. How Tamam works
Tamam is a marketplace: it helps clients and freelancers find each other, agree on the work and handle payment safely. When a client orders a service, the contract for that work is between the client and the freelancer. Tamam is not a party to it, does not employ freelancers and does not guarantee the result of their work. We provide the tools around it: secure payment, messaging, delivery, reviews and a dispute process (section 8).
Freelancers work independently. They are responsible for the services they offer, for complying with the rules that apply to their activity, and for declaring their income and paying their taxes and contributions.
5. Services and orders
- Freelancers describe each service honestly: what is included, the price, the delivery time and what they need from the client. A service costs at least the minimum price shown when it is published.
- Clients pay the full price when they order. The order starts once the payment is confirmed. For offline payments, where available, this happens after we receive and check the payment.
- The freelancer delivers the work through Tamam by the delivery date. The client can then approve it or ask for the revisions included in the service.
- If the client neither approves the delivery nor requests a refund, the order is marked as completed automatically one week after the delivery date.
- An order that has not started yet can be cancelled by the client or by the freelancer. The amount paid is then credited to the client's balance.
6. Projects, bids and milestones
- Clients can post projects and freelancers can send bids. Everyone is free to choose whom they work with.
- Our team may review a project before or after it goes online. If it does not follow these Terms (for example contact details in the description, or forbidden work), we may reject it with a note explaining what to change. The client can then edit the project and send it again.
- When a client awards a project, the freelancer has 36 hours to accept it. After that, the award is cancelled.
- Projects can be paid in milestones: the client pays for a milestone in advance, and the money is paid to the freelancer when the client releases it.
- Paid promotions (sponsored services, featured, urgent or highlighted projects, and proposal options) are paid from your Tamam balance, and their prices are shown before you pay. Once a promotion has started, its fee is not refundable, including when we stop it because the service, project or proposal breaks these Terms.
7. Payments, fees and withdrawals
- Prices are in Algerian dinars (DZD). The available payment methods, such as CIB and Edahabia cards, are shown at checkout. Card payments are processed by our payment provider: we never see or store your full card number.
- When you pay, the money is held by Tamam. It is paid to the freelancer only when the order is completed (section 5) or when a milestone is released.
- Tamam charges service fees. Depending on the case, the fee is deducted from the freelancer's earnings, added for the client at checkout, or deducted from a withdrawal. The fees that apply are shown before you pay, place a bid or request a withdrawal, and the current rates are listed in our Freelancer guide and Client guide. A change in fees never affects orders already placed.
- When an order is completed, the freelancer's earnings are added to their balance. Freelancers can withdraw their balance, above the minimum amount shown on the withdrawal page, to the payout account they set up in their settings: a bank or CCP account identified by its RIB or RIP, with the account holder's name, address and phone number, or a Chargily account where available. The account must be in the freelancer's own name; we may refuse a withdrawal to an account in another person's name.
- Withdrawals are checked and paid by our team. We may delay a withdrawal while we verify an identity, a dispute or a suspected fraud.
- If you need an invoice for a payment made on Tamam, contact us and we will send it to you.
8. Refunds and disputes
- If something goes wrong with an order, the client can request a refund from the order page before the order is completed. The freelancer can accept or decline the request.
- If the freelancer declines, the client can ask Tamam to step in. We review the order, the messages and the files delivered, then decide whether the client is refunded or the freelancer is paid. We can only rely on what was exchanged on Tamam, so keep your conversations there.
- While a refund request is open, the order cannot be completed automatically and the freelancer is not paid for it.
- Refunds are credited to the client's Tamam balance, which can be used for any future order. If you would rather get the money back, contact us and we will return it by bank or CCP transfer within 15 days.
9. Keep communication and payments on Tamam
To keep everyone protected, communicate and pay through Tamam. Do not ask for or offer payment outside Tamam for work found on Tamam, and do not share contact details to get around the platform. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. What is not allowed
You may not use Tamam to:
- offer, request or deliver anything that is illegal in Algeria, including gambling, alcohol, tobacco, medicines, weapons or other prohibited goods and services;
- infringe other people's rights, such as copyright, trademarks or privacy;
- publish content that is false, misleading, sexual, hateful, violent or harassing;
- write fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or open several accounts to do so;
- send spam, malware or phishing, or try to access accounts or systems that are not yours;
- do exams or graded assignments that a student will hand in as their own work.
We may remove content, cancel orders or suspend accounts that break these rules.
11. Content and intellectual property
- You keep the rights to the content you publish (profile, services, portfolio, messages). You allow Tamam to host it, display it and use it to run and promote the marketplace while it is on Tamam.
- Unless the service description says otherwise or the client and freelancer agree otherwise, the rights to the delivered work pass to the client once the order is completed and paid. Until then, the freelancer keeps them.
- Freelancers confirm that their work is original, or that they have the right to use everything it contains.
- Reviews must reflect a real experience with the order. We may remove reviews that break these Terms.
- The Tamam name, logo and website belong to us. Do not use them without our permission.
12. Suspending or closing an account
- We may suspend or close an account, hide content or hold a balance if these Terms are broken, if the law requires it, or to protect users or Tamam. When we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- You can close your account at any time by contacting us, once your orders are finished and your balance has been withdrawn.
13. Our responsibility
- We work to keep Tamam available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always work without interruption or errors.
- We are not responsible for the services freelancers provide, for what users publish, or for what they do outside Tamam.
- To the extent permitted by Algerian law, we are not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits or opportunities), and our total liability for an order is limited to the fees Tamam received for that order.
- Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under Algerian consumer protection law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the law or our services change. We publish the new version on this page with its date and, for important changes, let you know by email or on the website before they apply. Changes never affect orders already placed.
15. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Algerian law. If you have a problem, contact us first: most issues can be solved quickly. If we cannot reach an agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent Algerian courts.
16. Contact
For any question about these Terms, write to contact@digitalizi.pro or use our contact page.
